Gaming inspired Art

Everything below is inspired by Roleplaying Campaigns. Fantasy Campaigns mostly with some time travel campaigns and scifi campaigns. Just thought I'd share. Since people ( who shall remain nameless) have dropped subtle hint sthat I haven't posted in a while.

I like to have some kind of visual to show players when we play so they can better make that image in their mind. So I have to draw environments things people ect. heres a smattering of some stuff.

The man on the falcon looks like a gallivespian from the Philip Pullman books, bare feet and all.

Saw you at the Producers show last night, along with gobs of others we went to school with at CalArts. The demographics of animators sure have changed in 10 years! Wasn't in a social mood so didn't come by to say hi during the milling and eating after the show. Glad to see such a large contingency from Emeryville.

Hey Mark! The cat warrior is the one I most like, the bottom one is like the typical boss battle in an RPG campaign!

andrew glazebrook----- thanks man

shane---- thanks man it was a fun game and that contraption was key in making the characters cry. how do you tote that thing around ancient summeria?

dave---- thanks man. thats two votes for tenticles.

stephanie------ hmmm, never heard of gallivespian. its was a great show. you should have come by and said hi. I don't get to mingle much.

Sant----- thanks man, I like lion man two. made up a whole race of them for the PC's to mess with. Yeah tenticles are cool but it wasn't a Boss battle. heh heh. that was a warm up encounter. But they got some cool treasure.

Ben---- ahmen brother!

steve----- cool man. one vote for color, awesome.

the sir---- not a gnoll.... what is a gnoll... a gnome/troll??? nope made him up; inspired by the mankzin wars books I like the idea of a medieval kzin.

instead of typing my bad description, here's one i found that describes a gnoll:

Gnolls are a fictional race of humanoid creatures, usually described as anthropomorphic hyenas. They are strongly associated with the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, but are neither original to nor exclusive to that game.

it says hyena, but i've seen d&d fantasy art where they are more feline, that's why i asked. but a gnome/troll would be cool!
