PANEL 016

This is one panel of many I thought I would share. I have 4 pages done already and I dont know how many to go. It depends on how gratuitous I get with the fighting scenes.

Great composition. For some reason I can hear that panel loud and clear. The waves on the shore, the slight armour jangle, sandy muffled clipclop of horses, and the flapping of the flags.

MurrayB said everything I wanted to say in more eloquent words so I'll just end this by saying "NIIIICE!" By the way Mark, have you seen the newest Criterion Collection edition of Seven Samurai? Epic.

That looks amazing. This panel in particular reminds me of Kurosawa's Kagemusha, with the ocean...

It looks beautiful.

I would just like to say that I would like it to be as gratuitous as possible. Thank you. :)

While I was working on our high school graphics with the pirate, an invasion took place. Talk about being under a rock today. This is beautiful, the reflections, the lines, the colors--just gorgeous.

SF Guild-----I tip my hat to you m'lady. Now I caution ou. Its gonna get violent here real soon. But in a poetic visual epic kinda way.

I just want to know how you find the time! How much time do you spend on it, Mark?

I'm so glad to have found your blog! It's inspiring to see what you're working on in your free time. Thanks again for all the great advice you gave in your storyboard classes at Calarts.
